Following the incredible stupidity of the EU Referendum result the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has launched the#LondonIsOpen campaign to show that London is united and open for business and to the world.
Mayor Khan is urging all Londoners, organisations and businesses to show their support for the #LondonIsOpen message via social media and other creative ways.
So the team at our very own Cherryduck in Sampson Street got busy and produced this lovely little film to show that #WappingIsOpen just as #LondonIsOpen.
Have a watch and see how many familiar Wapping faces you can spot.
The key idea for the campaign is built around London opening its doors to welcome people to show the world that London remains entrepreneurial, international, and full of creativity and possibility, while reassuring the more than one million foreign nationals who live in London (aka our friends, family and neighbours in the East End) that they will always be welcome, and that any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.
Which is what Wapping and Tower Hamlets is all about.
You can see the first #LondonIsOpen film below, but we like to think the #WappingIsOpen film is better.
Unless the Wapping Squirrels make their own version – #OurNestsAreOpenButDontTouchOurNuts maybe?
