On Wednesday 29th July at 6.30pm there will be an evening walk exploring Wapping with old maps. The tour is given by Ken Titmuss, AKA the Old Map Man of London Trails and will last about two hours.
“Evening walk with old maps exploring this riverside settlement once isolated by the location of the Docks. The old dock walls now provide a backdrop to some amazing buildings in ancient streets close by steps that still take you down to the river. Like the two cottages that Mr Turner converted into a pub for his Mistress.”
Price is £10 (concessions £8) and you can book via the London Trails website.
London Trails is in the Guardian 10 best guided walks in London.
