HSR Solicitors who act for Mr. Youness Bentahar who was arrested in Oban Street, Aberfeldy last week have published their first press statement. This is reproduced in full below. In the statement HSR say that they cannot see how their client was obstructing the highway and that their client was legally parked on a single yellow line while displaying a valid blue disabled badge.

They also question whether the arrest was lawful.

Mr Bentahar was struck by police officers several times during the incident and subsequently suffered from a seizure in addition to a broken finger, a laceration to his face and bruising.
