Police investigating after double stabbing of two young men in St Paul’s Way, E3

Two young men have been stabbed and wounded, one seriously, after an assault in Tower Hamlets, E3. Police were called at around 16.30 hrs on Sunday, 26 May, to a stabbing in St Paul’s Way, E3 outside the parade of shops near the junction with Geoff Cade Way.

Two young men stabbed

Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) personnel attended and found two men suffering from stab injuries.

LW has been sent video footage of the aftermath of the stabbing which shows one of the victims lying on the ground bleeding profusely as his friends try to help him.

One victim, a 23-year-old man, has been taken to hospital where his condition is life-threatening.

The second victim, believed to be aged in his 20s or 30s, suffered less serious injuries and was also been taken to hospital.

An investigation has been launched, officers are working at the crime scene and cordons are in place. There have been no arrests in relation to the stabbings as yet.
