Victoria Park ‘One O’Clock Club’ is not closing confirms Council

This morning we heard rumours that the Victoria Park ‘One O’Clock Club’ was being closed. This is incorrect. We have checked with the council and their reply is below.

“We’re not closing the play session that currently runs at Victoria park and no play sessions are going to stop,” said a spokesperson for Tower Hamlets council.

“These services were temporarily held at the Park before our planned move back to three new children’s centres which will offer a much better, purpose built environment.

“We’ve been talking to parents and carers about this since 2016. They will now have had a letter from us to let them know that the new sessions will start at Overland Children’s Centre from 4th June.”

So that’s that!
