Lutfur Rahman verdict – solicitors tribunal judgement imminent

By on December 19, 2017 in Corruption, Lutfur Rahman

Lutfur Rahman may discover the reality of his future careers options as early as today as the formal judgement by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal seems to be nearing a conclusion.

The tribunal hearing was originally scheduled to last four days.

Our tribunal reporting team in Farringdon have informed LW that the judgement will be given either today or tomorrow at the latest.

No defence?

By deciding to not represent himself and not hiring representation the disgraced ex-mayor of Tower Hamlets has effectively not provided any defence to the charges of failing to uphold the rule of law and administration of justice, failing to act with integrity and failing to behave in a way that maintains the trust the public places in him and in the provision of legal services.

More news as we get it.
