The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command have started a murder investigation following the death of a 20 year old woman in Dora Street, E14.
Update 11:19 6th May 2017. Police have now named victim as Karolina Chwiluk.
Local police visited the address at around 23:00hrs on Thursday, 4 May following reports of several people being stabbed.
Despite police officers, London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the London Air Ambulance attending and administering first aid a woman was pronounced dead at the scene at around 23:40hrs.
Next of kin have been informed although a formal identification has yet to be made.
A suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving.
Two other people, a 42-year-old woman and 24-year-old man were taken to hospital and discharged after treatment. It is understood that all the victims were known to each other.
There have been no arrests as yet.
