Ruff justice for Vinnie the terrier

By on February 27, 2017 in News

Gabby Kuehn and her husband Florian have lost their court fight to stop being evicted from their Limehouse flat because they want to keep their terrier Vinnie with them.

The couple face a big bill after losing their case in which a judge ruled that the case came down to just “I love my dog”.

They now intend to take their battle to keep their beloved terrier Vinnie, a Maltese Yorkshire Terrier cross,  with them to the Court of Appeal.

Last week Tower Hamlets residents went to the court to support their cause.

In the court case the Kuehn’s argued that they had been given permission to keep Vinnie with them before they moved into their flat but Victory Place, the property management company, argued  that the lease had a “no-pets policy”which the couple were aware of before they moved in.
