Keep East End Life

By on June 14, 2015 in Comment

East End Life should not be abolished. Reduce its frequency to quarterly to reduce costs and keep a more balanced news angle but it would not be right to close it.

Many people in Tower Hamlets do not have access to internet, the few local papers that do exist are next to useless and as a result many residents are reliant on East End Life for information.

Of particular value to those in social housing are the property swaps in the back pages. How will people access this information with a council newspaper of internet access?

Answer – they won’t.
