Residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets have clubbed together to buy ex-Mayor Lutfur Rahman a house to express their feelings after he was found guilty of electoral fraud and corruption today. The house in question is shown below:
“We thought long and hard about what we could buy the ex-Mayor when he got found guilty of screwing our Borough,” said one resident. “We found this house falling off a cliff and being on fire at the same time, put in a bid and got this nice video of it.”
It is not known if the residents obtained a Council grant to buy the house.
“We hope that whenever Lutfur Rahman, Alibor Choudhury and Tower Hamlets First members watch this video they will reflect on how it mirrors their contribution to the East End,” said the resident.
