New Italian restaurant, wine bar & deli Bottega Wapping opens in E1W

By on August 5, 2013 in News

Yummy! Today 5th August Bottega Wapping opens in Metropolitan Wharf in Wapping. Hooray!

Wapping needs new businesses and Love Wapping believes it is not possible to have too many restaurants. And having both in Wapping Wall should liven up that part of our neighbourhood.

“The food will be traditional Italian with a few modern surprises along the way, with elegant small plates such as scallops with candied fennel, Roman fried specialities, heartier dishes including homemade pappardelle with white ragu and wild mushrooms and sharing platters of oozing burrata and Parma ham,” said Lorenzi Di Francesco, Director of Bottega Wapping, in a press statement. “For those who still have space, a dessert list ranges from a classic tiramisu to a rhubarb and strawberry soup with puff pastry and Chantilly.”

Bottega Wapping opens its doors today on Monday 5th August, with welcome cocktails and nibbles on Friday 9th August from 5pm. A launch event is planned for September.

So that’s beautiful food in a beautiful building. Ideal.
